From Laveno Mombello, one of the most evocative and picturesque tourist centers on the Lombardy side of Lake Maggiore, you climb gently with a system of comfortable two-seater open and closed telecabine, almost to the summit of Mount Sasso del Ferro (about 1.100 meters high ) from where you can admire, in the solemn silence of nature, a magnificent and enchanting view of Lake Maggiore, the Alps, the Prealps, the Lombardy lakes and the Po Valley.
\nThe Monte Sasso del Ferro, due to its cool summer breeze and its mild winter temperature, is the ideal destination for pleasant trips and for peaceful weekends in the tranquility of the green woods.
