L ‘\u00a0Hotel San Luis<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0, with\u00a0cozy cabins and tree houses<\/strong>\u00a0, set in a sunny clearing surrounded by 40 private larch and spruce forest hectares.\u00a0Set in the picturesque scenery of the Avelengo plateau above Merano, the village is a\u00a0contemporary<\/strong>\u00a0interpretationof the traditional South Tyrolean “summer shelter”, in magnificent symbiosis with nature, but with all the exclusivity and the environment that only a sophisticated hotel can guarantee.\u00a0It is easy to explore the surrounding nature: the most exciting hiking trails begin just a few steps from the chalet door.\u00a0We have used natural materials that create a warm and welcoming environment: for the construction of the chalets we have used the precious Mondholz (moon wood).<\/p>\n

Here is the secret of the immediate sense of\u00a0well<\/strong>\u00a0–\u00a0being<\/strong>\u00a0that you feel in these places: the large panoramic windows, the choice of traditional handmade items, the use of materials such as slate roofs and clay that makes you breathe the walls, the use of natural linen fabrics, everything is selected with great care.\u00a0Our structure immediately puts the guest in contact with nature.\u00a0On the lakeside or in the middle of an idyllic pinewood, our chalets have a fireplace and a private sauna and the tree houses are on one or two levels.\u00a0Whether you opt for a solution or the other, the experience of staying in San Luis will be permeated by\u00a0a unique atmosphere<\/strong>.\u00a0The large clubhouse is located in front of the mountain lake which extends over 5,800 m\u00b2 and is the beating heart of the San Luis resort;\u00a0here we find rooms dedicated to relaxation and conviviality, such as reception, lobby, bar, restaurants, cinema, wine and cheese cellar.\u00a0In an area as large as a barn, dedicated to the pool, our guests can immerse themselves in the indoor pool and enjoy the crackling fire of the adjacent fireplace, or prefer the heated pool outside or even the\u00a0Jacuzzi in the middle of the pond<\/strong>.\u00a0Also in the kitchen we pay homage to the “return to the roots”, blending traditional South Tyrolean cuisine with southern Mediterranean flavors.\u00a0This is why at our farm we produce seasonal vegetables directly from old and new varieties.\u00a0Another special feature – almost a private ritual, one could say – is the typical alpine style breakfast, which is lovingly served to our guests directly in their chalet every morning, at the chosen time.<\/p>\n
